THE COHERENT PARADOX: FATAL DEGENERATIVE EASINESS AND VITAL EVOLUTIONARY DIFFICULTY
The subject title of the International Winter Seminar at Musso School this July 2011 is THE COHERENT PARADOX.
Something coherent is something that is reasonable and thus, understandable.
Because everything has a reason to exist.
Nevertheless, our formal and functional world is always functioning, forming itself and transforming itself with very reasonable, coherent and dynamic reasons.
That is why people who do not reasonably perceive the dynamic reality of the world's coherent paradox will come to the conclusion that the world is not functioning the way they would like it to function.
The majority of people fall into this delusion, which is a consequence of the misunderstanding of reality's being paradoxically coherent.
The coherent paradox of reality means the interlinking and the integration of all forms of Existence in a multilateral (Not unilateral!) build-up. And those who pursue a unilateral lifestyle are not aware of their own existences because they hope (and very much expect) to find the result of their endeavors and challenges to be good, excellent, balanced, harmonious and peaceful.
But they do it in a unilaterally separated way from the inevitably unbalanced and non-peaceful results of their efforts.
In any case, people who drive into a unilateral and non-integrated process paradoxically find the contradictory opposites of what they were looking forward to.
Reality has to be perceived! It has to be looked at with a Micro-macro dynamic view.
Micro- is internal. And Macro is external.
"You see the face, you don't see the heart."
This is an old saying which children repeat in Brazil. But no one goes into the meaning of this popular message left to us by Brazilian ancestors.
If you relate to someone's face, you do not relate to their heart. And it is true: If someone unilaterally only grooms the face to look nice externally, then they will paradoxically harm the quality of their hearts, internally.
So, the face and the heart should be interconnected.
Those who look and relate more to the complementary part, rather than being concerned with the main, principal part of reality will get into a mix-up and into its complications.
That is why this Seminar will be very important to train and learn how to live within the reality of the coherent paradox, the reasonable paradox, the understandable paradox.
These terms are apparently opposite and contradictory, but only apparently; it is only the face.
Because in reality, contradictions are reasonable and understandable. People may strive through their everyday life and throughout History... and still not find a useful, satisfactory result. Now, why?
Well because they only perceive their contradictory experiences unilaterally, and so, cannot use them multilaterally. If they did they would use their contradictory experiences in an interconnected and integral way. If they would use the two antagonistic parts of their paradoxically coherent lives, they would use everything at their will. Both the form and the function!
This is our practical criteria which we need to recover: our understanding of the coherent paradox and of the usefulness of understandable contradiction.
Really, people unilaterally looking only for things that are good, excellent, easy, dependent, balanced, healthy, undisturbed and peaceful, will paradoxically find their opposites.
Those who look for the good, will find the bad. Those who look for the excellent will find the atrocious. And those who seek dependent fatal easiness will find independent vital difficulties which will lead to growth and evolutionary life.
The subtitle of this year's Seminar is:
FATAL DEGENERATIVE EASINESS AND VITAL EVOLUTIONARY DIFFICULTY.
This reflects indisputable and inexorable reality.
So it would be good to benefit from this Seminar, which happens in the middle of the confusion and inversion of the whole World nowadays. An opportunity to grasp the comprehension of the mutual integrality of good & bad, excellent & atrocious, facility & difficulty, dependence & independence, peace & war, balance & imbalance...
Really, those who have this view of reality, micro-macro-dynamically, internally and externally, analytically and synthetically, in a simultaneous way, will be able to acknowledge the marvel of Existence and take on an enthusiastic destiny.
TRAINING
This is our training, in the middle of a world situation that is deteriorating more and more..., but which will, paradoxically get better. Indeed, those who get ruined, get better...And those who get better, decay! So, no one should slip into just one of the sides in a disintegrated way.
For those who can use contradictory reality, everything may be useful. For those who cannot use the coherent paradox, everything becomes useless. That is why our practical, day-to-day criteria includes everything.
Integrality,
capacity, normality, regularity and immunity. One must be immune to all reasoned problems. Because all problems have a reason to exist! They all inevitably carry their solutions imbedded.
People whine: "Oooh, I have a problem!" But we would respond: "So what?"
Anybody who finds a problem paradoxically has deserved it, to use it and make it into an even greater solution!
A problem, paradoxically IS the solution!
That is our confirmation whichcan be evidenced at each present moment. That is the privilege of the person who finds problems, difficulties and threats.
So, this Seminar will be for those who want to learn how to live in a reasoned, coherent and clarified way. So that no one should feel stressed, scared or dismayed at today's reality, which paradoxically worsens more and more. Because it will paradoxically get better, by understanding the coherence of the reasons, thus strategically acting upon them.
